Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ELAXION LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as ELX Knowledge ("ELX Knowledge," "we," "us"). They cover this website (www.elxknowledge.com), the videos and other content we publish on YouTube, Rumble, and elsewhere (our "Content"), and ELX Review, our own publishing tool (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

1. What we offer

ELX Knowledge publishes free educational videos and related materials, such as walkthroughs for cloud certifications and web development. The website describes what we do and links to our channels. ELX Review is an internal tool we use to publish our videos to our own YouTube channel; it is not offered to the public.

2. Platforms we publish on

Our videos are hosted on third-party platforms. When you watch, comment, or otherwise use them there, that platform's terms apply in addition to these:

ELX Review uses YouTube API Services. By using ELX Review, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, and Google's handling of it in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Educational content only

Our Content is provided for general educational purposes. It is not professional, legal, financial, security, or career advice, and it is not a substitute for official documentation or training.

  • Accuracy: technology, products, prices, and exams change often. We work to keep our Content accurate, but it may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Check the official documentation before relying on it.
  • Exam material: example and practice questions are written by ELX Knowledge. They are not taken from any real exam, and they do not reveal or reproduce actual exam content. Following our Content does not guarantee that you will pass any exam or earn any certification.
  • No affiliation: ELX Knowledge is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Google, Amazon, or any other company whose products we teach, unless we say so explicitly. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products we teach.

4. Following along in your own accounts

Many lessons show steps in cloud services and other products. If you follow along:

  • You are responsible for your own accounts. Anything you create, change, or delete in your own accounts is your decision and your responsibility.
  • Costs are yours. Cloud services can charge for the resources you create, sometimes even when you are on a free trial or a free tier. Check the provider's pricing before you create anything, set budgets and alerts, and delete what you no longer need. We are not responsible for any charges, overages, or billing disputes.
  • Use a safe environment. Practice in a test or personal account, never in a production environment or an account you don't have permission to change. Never follow a lesson in an employer's or client's environment without their permission.
  • Security is your responsibility. Our examples are simplified for teaching. Review security settings before using any example for real work.

5. Your use of the Services

You agree not to:

  • use the Services in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the website, ELX Review, or any of our accounts, or interfere with how they work;
  • scrape, copy, or republish our Content in bulk, or present it as your own;
  • impersonate ELX Knowledge or suggest that we endorse you when we don't.

Comments you post under our videos are governed by the platform's rules. We may reply to, pin, hide, report, or remove comments to keep the discussion useful and safe.

6. Our content and intellectual property

Our Content, including videos, scripts, narration, graphics, the ELX Knowledge name and logo, and this website, is owned by ELAXION LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may watch and share links to our Content, and use what you learn for your own studies and work. You may not download, re-upload, sell, or redistribute our Content, or use our name or logo, without our written permission, except as allowed by the platform where it is published or by law (such as fair use).

If you believe something we published infringes your rights, email us at elxknowledge@gmail.com with the details, and we will review it promptly.

7. Third-party links and services

The Services link to websites, products, and services we don't control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOU USE THE SERVICES AND APPLY THE CONTENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELAXION LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR CLOUD, SERVICE, OR OTHER CHARGES YOU INCUR, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR CONTENT IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100). Because our Content is free, you agree this limit is reasonable.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ELAXION LLC and its members, managers, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or anything you do in your own accounts while following our Content.

11. Changes and availability

We may change, pause, or stop any part of the Services at any time, and we may remove Content without notice. We may update these Terms; when we do, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us first so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a transfer of the business.
